We start with the question “why?”
Every project starts with a child’s curiosity. We find out what truly fascinates children and how they learn, and only then build the content around it, together with teachers and parents.
Flience offers beautifully designed educational materials: cards, flashcards, posters, and maps that change the way we see education.
Everything we create is built on solid knowledge and on how we learn. Then we design every visual detail so that learning is a pleasure you want to come back to.

No ready-made graphics or clip art. We draw every antelope, planet and element from scratch, and choose typography and colours so that nothing is left to chance.
Thicker paper and a solid finish that can withstand hundreds of little hands. A good learning aid should last more than one semester.
Flience cards are 47 stops on the way to reading and writing on your own. On the front a child meets a letter and its animal patron, on the back they learn to trace it with the help of arrows.

They focus on passing on knowledge and forget about form. Yet it is a thoughtful, beautiful presentation of learning that makes knowledge easier to remember.

Sign up and Kiwio will bring you a welcome letter with a -5% code for your first purchase. After that we write rarely: when we have something new or an idea for learning together.
I will bring the rest of the code by email :)
Notes we pin above our desks in the studio, written down from our conversations with parents and teachers.
I bought the flashcards as a gift and you could tell right away they were well made. I’ll definitely buy something from you again.
For the first time my daughter takes out the cards on her own, without me asking, and tells me about the elements.
I use the posters in science lessons. The kids really like them, and I finally have something on the wall that looks good.

There is a board hanging next to it. Draw something simple on it with chalk and the board will try to recognise the shape and turn it into one of our drawings. Best in one stroke, without lifting your finger from the screen.
The board is an optional interaction that requires a mouse or touch. Contact content is available without drawing.
