From zero to twenty there are twenty-one stops, and each has its own card in the set, two of each. The front shows the printed number, its handwritten form with arrows for the order of strokes, and the number word. The back is a frame with spaces: the child places as many counters as the number says, and seven stops being just a mark on paper.
With six sign cards and two sum cards you can lay out every addition and subtraction up to twenty, all 462 sums from the cards alone.
